Woman Flowers - small

The small Woman Flowers are a collection of somewhat naive, at times humorous works. I have explored how I could create fertility symbols and symbols of the feminine aspect through abstractions of a vulva-like visual language, often with an energy centre in the middle.

With the Woman Flowers, I wish to remind us that the vulva should be honoured. It is the entrance and exit for life. For far too long, it has been objectified or hidden away in shame. It deserves a place on the wall. A place of honour!
